I created this painting for the annual Palmer Land Trust fundraiser art show. I've been invited to participate in this worthy event for several years. The proceeds from the show help support the Palmer Land Trusts efforts to preserver open space here in Colorado. Open spaces are vanishing. I believe that we need to preserve them.
This is from a high trail in Red Rocks Open Space. You can see way out to the prairie east of Colorado Springs. The Garden Of The Gods Park is just north of here.
A portion of the sale price from this piece will be donated to the Palmer Land Trust.
